With Last Tango in Paris it seemed that Maria Schneider had made the film that would forever mark her career and, without doubt, her life. Cartoonist Enki Bilal gave her the opportunity for a solid return with her part in his very mysterious first movie Bunker Palace Hotel. The shooting just started in Yugoslavia and, according to the tapes from the director, we can expect a fictional political tale where hyper technology and decadence are mixed. Next to Maria Schneider, Jean-Louis Trintignant, whose farewell to the cinema luckily wasn’t forever, Carole Bouquet and Jean-Pierre Léaud.
